  • The Community Garden Society is always in need of individuals or groups who delight in gardening and want to make an impact on the nutritional needs of our community.
  • Community gardens offer a sense of purpose and access to fresh produce and plants while also providing neighborhood improvement and a connection to the environment.
  • Two of the garden sites have a community plot(s).  The food harvested is donated to the community through the Food Bank and various local agencies.
  • The Society needs volunteers who can weed, plant, sow, water and harvest.

Here's How!

If you are interested in volunteering, please email our Community Garden Coordinator at

(Please provide your contact information, days that you are available and any valuable skills you have that may be useful to the Community Garden.)
